Ownership of a horse is a hugely satisfying and wonderful privilege, but it does come with considerable responsibility.

Caring for a horse starts from the moment we first consider buying them – the partnership must be right.  From then, responsibility for their daily well-being, feeding and safety is ongoing – and there are times when that’s not always easy – holidays, work commitments and poor health can hinder the most caring owners’ best efforts.  There is also a care responsibility when selling a horse – it must be to the right home.

Silver Linings Equestrian (SLE) was borne of the philosophy that every owner, at some point, needs a hand providing that care.  Whether it be:

• Finding the ‘right’ horse to buy;
• Agistment (short or long term);
• Advise or assistance with yours’ and your horses’ education;
• Ensuring your horse makes the right first impression to a good home when selling

So why SLE?  Because we are horse-owners too, and caring for the things that you do is what we are here for – it comes naturally.
